Important dagesh distinction: פּ is p, while undotted פ is f. Also compare בּ /b/ with ב /v/, and כּ /k/ with כ /χ/. The top dots of שׁ and שׂ are not dagesh; the dot in וּ marks the vowel /u/ (shuruq). In everyday unpointed text, פ can represent /p/ or /f/ depending on the word.
This is introductory practice. Hebrew pronunciation varies by tradition; guidance primarily follows modern Israeli Hebrew. Local progress does not sync between devices until secure accounts are activated.
